1. Introduction
Welcome to Busk ("Website", "Service", "Platform", "We", "Us", or "Our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Busk platform operated by Rentiful Limited ("Company"). Busk is a trading name of Rentiful Limited. Please read these Terms carefully before using our Website.
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Website.
2. The Service
Busk is a tipping platform that enables members of the public ("Tippers") to make voluntary monetary tips to performers, creators, and service professionals ("Buskers") via QR codes and online payment processing.
Tips are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment provider. By making a tip, you agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these Terms.
3. Tips & Payments
All tips made through Busk are voluntary and non-refundable. Tips are processed in the currency displayed at the time of payment. Busk may charge a platform fee on tips, which will be clearly displayed before payment is confirmed.
We are not responsible for any errors in tip amounts entered by Tippers. Please review your tip amount before confirming payment.
4. Busker Accounts
Buskers must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You must be at least 18 years old to register as a Busker. Busk reserves the right to verify your identity and reject or suspend any account at our sole discretion.
Buskers are responsible for all tax obligations arising from tips received through the platform.
5. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Engage in fraudulent activity or money laundering
- Upload offensive, harmful, or illegal content
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Solicit tips under false pretences
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of Rentiful Limited. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without prior written consent.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, any pending payouts will be processed according to our standard schedule.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Busk, nor its directors, employees, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Service will be error-free.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
11. Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
